What is “Homes for Heroes”? This special program was established shortly after the tragic events of 9/11 as a way to give back and say thank you to our nation’s heroes. Today this program serves teachers, firefighters, EMS, law enforcement, military (active, reserves and veterans) and healthcare professionals.
What are Hero Rewards?
Qualified buyers and sellers have the potential to receive a check from Homes for Heroes as well as reduced lending fees!
How much could a hero save with the program?
The rewards amount will vary for each Hero. When the program is fully utilized, Hero rewards equal on average around $3,000. However, there are several variables that go into it, such as whether you want to buy, sell or refinance, and the price of the home.
